Job summary

WestRock Company is seeking an Assembly Supervisor to lead the Assembly line on the 2nd shift (3 pm–11 pm). You will monitor production tasks, quantities, efficiency, quality and safety, while ensuring accurate paperwork and computer entry on the plant floor and in the office.

You will maintain line efficiency, conduct safety meetings, train employees, manage inventory, and support employee relations in a bilingual English/Spanish environment.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Clear communication with employees and management.
• Intermediate computer skills: Email, Excel, Word and corrugated software.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication ability.
• Attention to detail and adherence to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production line efficiency, quality, cleanliness and safety.
• Maintain all appropriate paperwork.
• Provide training for all employees.
• Conducts plant safety meetings.
• Maintain compliance with safety rules/regulations for a safe environment.
• Ensure adherence to GMP requirements.
• Evaluate employee performance.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts.
• Handle all aspects of employee relations.
