Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Illinois is seeking an Assembly Supervisor to lead the Assembly process on the plant floor and in an office setting. You will monitor production tasks, quantities, efficiencies, and quality while ensuring safety and accurate paperwork.

This is a 2nd shift position (3 pm - 11 pm). You will train staff, conduct safety meetings, maintain GMP compliance, manage inventory, and communicate clearly with bilingual English/Spanish teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Clear communication with employees and management.
• Intermediate computer skills: Email, Excel, Word; corrugated industry software experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production line efficiency, quality, cleanliness and safety.
• Maintain all appropriate paperwork.
• Provide training for all employees.
• Conduct plant safety meetings.
• Maintain compliance with safety rules and regulations.
