Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Colonial Heights, VA is seeking an entry-level Assembler I to build refrigeration cases and sub-assemblies. You will read and interpret work orders, identify parts, and assemble using hand or power tools. You may perform preventive maintenance on equipment and work across stations as needed.

Qualifications

• Entry-level assembler role, manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret order instructions.
• Familiarity with measuring tools (rulers, tape measures) and basic assembly tooling.

Responsibilities

• Assemble refrigeration cases and sub-assemblies (tanks, bases, frames, plenums).
• Identify parts and their placement from work orders.
• Use hand or power tools; read specs and gauging information.
• Fit parts together using bolts, screws, rivets or fasteners.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment and tooling.
