Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking an entry-level Assembler I in Colonial Heights, VA. You will assemble refrigeration cases and sub-assemblies, reading orders, identifying parts, and using various hand and power tools to complete units.

Qualifications

• Entry level assembler position.
• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend an "A" order.
• Identify parts used on the assigned product line and their placement.
• Identify power and hand tools used on the line.
• Read and comprehend the work order.
• Perform assembly with hand or power tools.
• Identify parts and part descriptions from work orders.
• Use gauging and dimensioning information.
• Read rulers, tapes, squares and other measuring tools.
• Fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets or fasteners.
• Work at different stations as production needs require.
• Collaborate with the assembly team to complete units.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tooling.
