Job summary

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is seeking an Assembler I (2nd shift) - Packing at our Reno, NV facility. The position offers an hourly rate of $20.47 plus a $0.50 shift differential. Core hours are 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM, with overtime possible.

This role involves bench assembly, fastening, and order packing in a team environment. We provide benefits starting day one, including health and retirement options, parental leave, educational assistance, and wellness reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for extended periods on a manufacturing floor.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally more with help.
• Exposure to a high-noise environment; hearing protection may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts via simple bench processes using bolts, screws, clips and related fasteners.
• Follow models, samples, or diagrams under close supervision.
• Pick, pack and pull orders accurately and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise; maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Support LEAN initiatives and 5S throughout shop floor and office areas.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
