Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift in Perryville, MO. The role involves hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspections of civilian aircraft in a fast-paced hangar environment.

You will work under supervision, using your Airframe/Powerplant credentials and growing through AMT I-IV levels with appropriate experience. Benefits start upon hire and include competitive pay and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe preferred.
• 0-2 years of aviation maintenance or similar experience for AMT I.
• 2-4 years for Amt II; corporate aircraft experience preferred.
• 4-6+ years for Amt III; broad maintenance knowledge.
• AMT IV requires both licenses and extensive corporate aircraft experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and systems.
• Remove/install panels and components as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve aircraft system issues and faults.
• Support engine removal/installation activities when required.
• Operate ground support equipment and assist with taxiing and runs.
• Maintain shop facilities, tooling and related equipment.
• Communicate clearly in English and follow safety rules.
