West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician on the 2nd shift in East Alton, IL. The role covers repair, troubleshooting and inspection of aircraft systems, with licensed AMTs at various levels and a path to senior positions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe preferred.
• 0–2 years in aviation maintenance or related field.
• 2–4 years in aviation maintenance; corporate aircraft preferred.
• 4–6+ years in aviation maintenance; broad experience.
• 6+ years on corporate aircraft platforms desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove/install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve aircraft system issues.
• De-fuel aircraft.
• Perform engine removals/ installations.
• Operate ground support equipment.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components.
