Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an Embraer Aircraft Maintenance Technician on second shift.

You will perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems, remove and install panels, troubleshoot and maintain airframes, engines, and support equipment, with supervision by team leads. Requirements include a high school diploma, and Airframe/Powerplant licenses at various levels; 0–6+ years depending on level.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe preferred.
• Experience levels vary by level (I–IV) with increasing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and solve aircraft system issues.
• De-fuel aircraft and perform engine removal/installation.
• Operate ground support equipment and assist in taxiing and testing.
• Maintain and repair shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
