West Star Aviation Inc. in Chattanooga, TN is hiring a Paint Technician for the 2nd shift. You will mask and prep aircraft surfaces, apply primer and paint, perform detail work and ensure quality finishes in a busy hangar environment.

The role offers a Monday-Thursday schedule (3pm–1am) with a 10%–15% shift premium, paid lunch, weekly pay, and a path to transfer to the 1st shift after 3 years. Benefits start at hire, with medical/dental and 401(k) match and opportunities for training and growth.

Competenze

• A high school diploma or equivalent. Vo-tech school in paint or on-the-job experience is preferred but not required.

Mansioni

• Masking and taping aircraft parts to avoid overspray.
• Sanding primer and painting prep.
• Apply base coat and top coats with attention to detail.
• Inspect paint jobs for quality and consistency.
• Follow FAA guidelines and safety procedures.
