West Star Aviation in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician on the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3pm-1am).

You will troubleshoot and repair electrical/mechanical/hydraulic systems, perform inspections, and maintain aircraft in a fast-paced environment while adhering to FAA guidelines. Training and a path to higher AMT levels are available with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe preferred.
• Valid driver’s license ideal for airline travel.
• Able to work 2nd shift Mon-Thu 3pm-1am with premium.

Responsabilidades

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving aircraft system issues.
• De-fueling aircraft.
• Engine removal/installations.
• Operate ground support equipment.
• Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components.
• Aircraft movement and assist in performance runs/taxiing.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
• Communicate in English clearly in spoken and written form.
