Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Interior Upholstery Technician for the 2nd shift in Chattanooga, TN. The role involves repairing, refurbishing, and reinstalling interior upholstery components on business aircraft, including seats and panels.

You will remove/install seats, disassemble and repair components, and follow FAA guidelines in a fast-paced hangar environment. The position offers a 2nd shift with a 3pm-1am schedule and a 10%–15% shift premium, paid lunch, and opportunities for training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver's license ideal for airline travel, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Repair, refurbishment and reinstallation of interior upholstery on business aircraft.
• Remove and install seats, disassemble and modify components as needed.
• Maintain shop facilities and tooling; perform routine cleaning and organization.
• Communicate effectively in English with team and supervisors.
• Follow FAA guidelines and company safety rules.
