Job summary

Eaton's IS AER FMC division is seeking a Manufacturing Team Lead on 2nd shift (1:45pm–10:15pm) at our Los Angeles area facility to supervise and train operators, assign work, ensure on-time completion, and resolve discrepancies.

The role involves assembling and testing mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies for clients including Boeing, Embraer, Gulfstream, Cessna and Airbus, using inspection gauges and test equipment, with a focus on leadership and problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Ten years minimum experience in aerospace assembly and testing of hydraulic or electromechanical control valves and knowledge of hydraulic test equipment.
• Experience assisting and/or leading teams or initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assign work and manage schedule; ensure work completed on time and train employees.
• Serve as liaison between production floor, Quality and Engineering.
• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Lead team meetings and drive process improvements in hardware and testing equipment.
