Job summary

RTX Pratt & Whitney is seeking a 2nd shift Certified Operator trainee to support assembly of large engine sections. The position includes on-the-job training, working from operation sheets, and collaboration with engineers and quality teams to resolve issues.

Employees will gain skills in precision measurement, TPM, and certification processes, preparing for operator certification and advancement within a state-of-the-art aerospace facility.

Qualifications

• High School or GED diploma required.
• 1+ year of manufacturing or related experience preferred.
• Ability to perform decimal and fraction computations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Learn to perform routine assembly operations on engine sections.
• Obtain operator Certification to inspect parts.
• Work from operation sheets and travelers to complete tasks.
• Verify conformance using precision measuring instruments.
