Job summary

PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an Automatic Drilling Unit Technician for Mobile, AL. This 2nd shift role requires adapting to a 2:00pm–10:30pm schedule with possible shift changes based on needs.

The technician will support ADU systems across shop and production lines to ensure uptime and quality. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in industrial maintenance or ADU maintenance, with 5+ years preferred for hands-on ADU and tooling experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in industrial maintenance or ADU maintenance.
• 5+ years preferred hands-on experience with ADU maintenance and drilling templates.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate and implement all ADU equipment and tooling.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair ADU systems to maximize uptime.
• Oversee qualification of new ADU systems and support their entry into service.
• Provide on-the-job instruction to production staff for safe, effective ADU use.
• Record lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
