The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 2+ years in machine technician roles, and prefers experience in print/mail environments. Candidates should be able to read manuals, lift 25 pounds, and provide their own tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school/associate degree preferred.
• Two+ years as a Machine Technician.
• Print/mail industry experience preferred but not required.
• Quality control, lean manufacturing, safety experience a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Solid mechanical aptitude (pulleys, gears, belts, etc.).
• Knowledge of OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mail machines and identify sources of problems.
• Provide support and build effective relationships with operators and other technicians.
• Perform preventive inspections and maintenance on machines and parts.
• Report machine performance and operator issues to Supervisors.
• Coordinate with vendors for guidance when needed.
• Place maintenance orders and manage resources efficiently.
• Keep records of service, maintenance and refurbishing work.
• Comply with company policies and promote values.
