Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Rockford, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician (2nd shift) to support production by installing, repairing, modifying and aligning precision machines and hydraulic systems.

This role requires reading diagrams, applying electrical and mechanical skills, and performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. The position is full-time, on-site, with an hourly wage range of $25.00 to $34.00 and a $2.50 2nd shift premium.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or 6 years related experience preferred.
• Experience with electrical/electronic & mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics; interpret drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, repair, modification and alignment of precision machines and hydraulic systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure efficient production operations.
• Inspect for safety hazards and maintain safe work environment as per EHS policies.
• Operate drills, grinders and other metalworking tools; use hand and power tools.
• Troubleshoot and repair CNC equipment and related systems.
• Order spare parts and assist in equipment upgrades or repairs.
