America's Heartland Packing seeks a dedicated 1st legger to remove hide from the lower round, hock and leg of carcasses. You will start from the pattern mark, insert the knife between hide and meat, and skin around the hock and leg while following safety procedures.

Ideal candidates will be able to work in a humid, hot, and wet environment with PPE, and stand for long periods. Training provided in a fast-paced plant setting.

• Willingness to stand long periods and work near moving equipment.

Mansioni

• Remove hide from carcass parts as described, using a knife.
• Maintain clean handling and PPE while skinning around joints.
• Skin inside hind leg and manage pattern marks with care.
• Sanitize knife as required and keep it polished for each carcass.
• Perform related duties as needed to support production.
