Stellar Energy Americas Inc. in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an experienced Structural Fitter to assemble and weld industrial steel systems in a fabrication facility.

You will read isometric drawings, measure for true plumb and square, cut and tack components, and prepare metal surfaces for welding per job specs. You will install hangers and supports, operate cranes or forklifts, monitor quality and safety, and help ensure ISO 9001 readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ related experience or training.
• Basic math and language skills are required.
• Threading, grinding, welding, brazing, rigging, plasma cutting.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications and blueprints to ensure correct fit.
• Cut, fit and tack metal to weld-ready status per drawings.
• Install structural hangers, supports and braces, from temporary to final.
