Job summary

Wabash is seeking a skilled manufacturing technician to join our production team in Kentucky. You will perform a variety of semi-skilled manual duties, operate equipment, and follow engineering drawings and safety protocols to produce high-quality metal parts.

The role emphasizes independent judgment, teamwork, and adherence to ISO standards while maintaining a strong safety mindset. Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED equivalent required.
• General computer skills (Excel and Word).
• Strong math skills.
• Ability to read and use tape measure, calipers, and gauging equipment.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Able to exercise independent judgment when performing responsibilities.
• Meet ISO and Wabash quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of semi-skilled manual duties with knowledge of techniques, tools, and safety.
• Operate lasers, turrets, presses, shears, and other equipment as assigned including setup and PM maintenance.
• Understand blueprints and follow safety plans.
• Report defects and support production/maintenance leadership.
• Wear all required PPE and maintain safety standards.
