Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking an Assembler in Germantown, WI to assemble LED lighting components and sub-assemblies per engineering specs. You will use hand tools, light machinery, and perform quality inspections to ensure adherence to standards.

The role runs on 2nd and 3rd shifts (3:15pm-11:15pm; 11:00pm-7:05am) with a collaborative team environment and opportunities for hire after probation.

Position Title: AssemblerWage: $18.00-$19.00 per hourShift: 2nd, 3rdHours: 3:15pm-11:15pm; 11:00pm-7:05amQPS Employment Group has a great Assembler position available at a company in Germantown, WI. This is a 2nd and 3rd shift position with the opportunity for hire.Assembler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Assemble LED lighting components and sub-assemblies according to work instructions and engineering specifications.- Operate hand tools, power tools, and light machinery safely and efficiently.- Perform visual and functional inspections to ensure product quality.- Follow standardized work procedures and safety guidelines.- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.- Identify and report defects, equipment issues, or process concerns.- Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards).- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.Assembler Requirements:- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.- Previous retail or fast-food restaurant experience preferred.- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and basic technical documents.- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.- Basic math and measurement skills.- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.- Ability to stand for extended periods.- Frequent use of hands for assembling small components.- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. as needed.- Good vision (with or without correction) for detailed assembly work.About us:QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
