Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking an Assembler to join our Germantown, WI manufacturing team for the 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will assemble LED lighting components, operate tools, and inspect quality while following 5S and safety procedures. The role offers steady hours and the potential for hire.

Qualified candidates will have basic math skills, read work instructions, and work well in a team environment. Standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 lbs are expected.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
• Previous retail or fast-food restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and basic technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequent use of hands for assembling small components.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. as needed.
• Good vision (with or without correction) for detailed assembly work.

Responsibilities

• Assemble LED lighting components and sub-assemblies according to work instructions and engineering specifications.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and light machinery safely and efficiently.
• Perform visual and functional inspections to ensure product quality.
• Follow standardized work procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Identify and report defects, equipment issues, or process concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards).
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.

Position Title: Assembler

Wage: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Shift: 2nd, 3rd

Hours: 3:15pm-11:15pm; 11:00pm-7:05am
