Job summary

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity for a Mechanical Assembler in Germantown, WI. This is a potential for hire position with three shift options: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, and wage between $20.00 and $23.00 per hour.

Assemble units, set up winding machinery, weld and solder copper and steel, load spools, and verify specifications. Requires at least one year of assembly experience and ability to read drawings and document data in English.

Qualifications

• At least one year of assembly experience.
• Able to read three-way dimensional drawings, blueprints and work orders in English.
• Able to write production information/data in English.
• Able to read and correctly interpret measurements using tape measures.

Responsibilities

• Set up winding machinery for operation.
• Assemble units using hand and power hand tools.
• Load and change spools of wire and coils.
• Test assembled units and verify units meet all electrical and mechanical specifications.
• Weld and solder copper and steel. Hand solder wire to terminals.
• Assemble core legs.
• Label products as appropriate.
• Computer keyboard entry of all necessary production data.
