Warrensburg R-VI District is seeking a Special Education Process Coordinator for Ridge View Elementary School. The role directs the Special Education program, oversees staff, and ensures alignment with district policies and state requirements.

For Whom/What Responsible: The building staff and students
Qualifications: Degree - Minimum of Master's Degree in Special Education and/or Special Education or School Administration. Certification in at least one area of special education or related area and knowledge of special education process requirements.
Preferred Experience: Five years of classroom teaching in special education. Experience in evaluation, diagnosis, and special education programming.
Primary Responsibilities: To provide a quality instructional program by managing the operation of the school program, personnel, and facilities for the benefit of the students.
Demonstrates positive interpersonal relationships with other administrators.
The Special Education Process Coordinator is employed on a 191-day contract. Compensation is according to the extra-duty schedule stipend as established annually by the Board of Education.
Performance of this position will be evaluated according to board policies and the Warrensburg R-VI adopted model of Performance-Based Teacher Evaluation as per employment classification.
