Harvest Midstream seeks an Engineering Manager in Houston, TX to build and lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers including electrical, instrumentation, process, structural, fire & gas, and mechanical disciplines. You will guide capability development, set performance expectations, and support asset teams and project managers with disciplined execution.

The role requires strong data management, exceptional communication, and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Fifteen (15) years minimum of engineering experience.
• Experience in a management or supervisory role preferred.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, and other departments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to translate complex information into an organized format.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a team of discipline engineers across electrical, instrumentation, process, structural, fire & gas, mechanical and other disciplines.

Adjust the makeup of the team and disciplines accordingly.* Assess each discipline engineers’ strengths and weaknesses and set clear expectations for improving technical skills and effective interactions with multiple teams.* Build and maintain a strong team while encouraging individual growth and increasing capabilities.* Provide clear expectations to team members and hold them individually accountable for meeting their goals and showing results. Provide honest feedback and coaching to team members.
