Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a Manufacturing Development Engineering Shift Engineer for Wet Etch/CMP/Bond to enable 24/7 development for next‑gen DRAM technologies. You will serve as the primary off‑shift engineering decision‑maker, guiding development wafers, tools, and targets with strong engineering judgment.

You will partner with Process Development, Process Integration, Equipment Development, Manufacturing, and Shift Operations to troubleshoot issues, drive process improvements, and ensure

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Materials or BS with semiconductor experience.
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift including nights/weekends/holidays.
• Solid understanding of Wet Process, CMP, or Bond manufacturing and process control.
• Familiarity with SPC, DOE, E3 FD, and data-driven decision making.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary off-shift engineering decision-maker for development activities.
• Collaborate with Process Development, Process Integration, Equipment Development, Manufacturing, and Shift Operations teams.
• Apply fault-detection systems and data analysis to improve process performance and yield.
• Maintain documentation, action plans, recipes, and procedures; ensure cross-shift communication.
