Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a New College Grad - Photolithography MDE Shift Engineer in Boise, ID.

You will lead during 12-hour rotating shifts, disposition wafers, and address process deviations while collaborating with multiple teams to enable rapid learning and development of next-generation DRAM technologies. You will apply advanced analytics, SPC/DOE methods, and AI-driven tools to accelerate learning cycles, improve decision quality, and support Micron's digital manufacturing

Qualifications

Master's or bachelor’s degree with semiconductor experience as stated.
Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Understanding of photolithography processes, semiconductor manufacturing principles, process control, and problem solving.
Knowledge of SPC, DOE, E3 FD systems, and data-driven decision making.
Strong analytical, decision-making, and technical problem-solving skills; proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Act as the off-hours technical authority for development activities and wafer dispositioning.
Collaborate with Process Development, Equipment Development, and Shift Operations to resolve issues.
Apply SPC, E3, FD systems and data analysis to investigate excursions and improve yield.
Maintain documentation, reaction plans, and process recipes while communicating issues clearly.
Support continuous improvement through data collection, audits, and benchmarking.
Leverage model-based problem solving, analytics, and AI tools to improve decisions.
