Job summary

Wolverine Power Cooperative in Michigan seeks two dispatchers to support our member distribution cooperatives with after-hours coordination for outages, service interruptions, and operational events. You will gather information, log tickets, and relay critical details to on-call responders in a fast-paced 24/7 setting.

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
Associate degree preferred.
1–2 years experience in technical/utility/dispatch or similar environment.
Strong computer and data-entry skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work a rotating schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities

Receive calls and gather information related to outages and operational issues.
Create and update outage tickets in designated systems.
Coordinate communications with on-call personnel and member cooperatives.
Monitor outage management and GIS systems for situational awareness.
Document activity and status updates; support restoration efforts.
