Job summary

Baptist Health Lexington is seeking a PBX Operator (PRN) to manage incoming calls from the switchboard and patient information lines with courtesy and professionalism.

You'll monitor alarms and emergency phones, relay critical information quickly, and handle walk-up inquiries from patients and visitors, ensuring smooth communications across the hospital.

Required is a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of customer service experience; previous switchboard work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming calls from the switchboard and patient information lines in a courteous and professional manner.
