Job summary

Compal USA Technology Inc. in Texas is seeking a Shift Test Manager (M3) to lead manufacturing test and repair operations on a 24/7 shift, ensuring throughput, FPY, and cycle-time targets are consistently met.

You will drive real-time execution, manage Test Supervisors and technicians, monitor KPIs, and coordinate with Test Engineering, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing to improve yield and reduce TTR.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in manufacturing test or operations.
• 3–5+ years of leadership experience.
• Engineering degree preferred.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Experience with manufacturing test processes and server hardware.

Responsibilities

• Drive shift execution to meet production plan, takt time, and output targets.
• Monitor KPIs and take timely actions.
• Lead and develop Test Supervisors and Technicians.
• Ensure staffing and shift handoffs.
• Manage real-time issues and escalation.
• Oversee repair operations to reduce TTR and backlog.
• Collaborate with Test Engineering, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing.
• Provide feedback into NPI and continuous improvement.
