GlobalFoundries is hiring a Maintenance Technician for the Malta site Fab 8, a 300mm leading-edge semiconductor manufacturing facility with 24/7 operations. You will monitor, sustain, and improve equipment, collaborate with production teams, and troubleshoot tool issues using mechanical, electronic and PC/software skills.

The role requires cleanroom compliance, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and flexibility to work 3-4 day alternating shifts (day or night).

Formación

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Electrical or mechanical background; 2-year technical degree, 2 years military or 4 years related experience.
• Fluency in English (written & verbal).
• Able to work in a cleanroom environment per semiconductor protocol.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor equipment performance and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Sustain and improve tools and processes in assigned area.
• Communicate status updates to Lead Tech/Engineer.
• Run troubleshooting and resolve equipment-related issues.
