Job summary

Amazon in Woodburn, OR, is seeking a Security and Loss Prevention Specialist to protect people, products, and data across fulfillment and logistics operations. This hourly role reports to the regional SLP Manager and supports field teams with investigations, audits, and incident response.

Expect to conduct confidential inquiries, collaborate with internal and external partners, and travel domestically up to 25%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of Amazon experience or related security experience.
• 1+ year using Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Workplace incident mitigation or business continuity experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct confidential investigations and prepare prompt written reports of theft, fraud, and incidents.
• Identify vulnerabilities and define mitigating actions while ensuring legal and ethical standards.
• Liaise with leadership and cross-functional teams on security matters.
• Develop strategies for alarm reduction and diagnose device issues with partners.
• Domestic travel up to 25% when applicable.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and work across 24/7 shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
