Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Security and Loss Prevention Specialist (SLP Specialist) to protect people, product, and data across multiple sites within GA. You will lead investigations, assess vulnerabilities, and partner with legal, HR and security vendors.

This role covers 24/7 operations, requires lifting up to 49 pounds, and may involve up to 25% travel. You must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a dynamic fulfillment and logistics environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of Amazon (Blue Badge/FTE) experience, or 1+ year in security service, loss prevention, asset protection, investigations, law enforcement, or operations, or Loss Prevention Qualified Career Choice Graduate.
• 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, in a professional capacity.
• Workplace incident mitigation or de-escalation and Business Continuity planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct confidential investigations and prepare prompt written reports of theft, fraud, and critical incidents.
• Contribute to the identification of vulnerabilities and define appropriate mitigating actions while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Serve as department liaison and security/crisis management subject matter expert for site leadership.
• Develop strategies for alarm reduction and conduct system diagnostics for problematic devices with internal/external partners.
• Domestic travel up to 25% of the time when applicable.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and work 12-hour shifts in variable environments, including loud and outdoor areas.
• This role covers 24/7 operations and requires availability for all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
