Job summary

FCS Security Services, Inc. is seeking a Security Control Room Operator to centralize monitoring of CCTV, access control, and alarms, ensuring timely detection and response to security events.

You will document incidents, dispatch personnel, and maintain situational awareness while communicating with on-site staff, clients, and responders. Training provided; start date anticipated in November 2026.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Level II Security Guard License.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to begin on November 1, 2026.
• Able to pass drug, background, and driving checks.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• 18+ years old (21+ for driving roles).
• Proficient English communication, reading and writing.
• Able to meet physical demands (lifting up to 40 lbs., long periods of standing).
• Security, customer service, military, or law enforcement background helpful but not required.
• No time off during first 90 days except emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras, access control, alarms, and security systems.
• Maintain continuous awareness of site activities and events.
• Dispatch security officers and emergency personnel as needed.
• Monitor and control facility access and verify authorization.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies per post orders.
• Document incidents and activities in logs/reports.
• Communicate with on-site personnel, supervisors, clients, and responders.
• Investigate alerts and escalate when necessary.
• Track officer locations and maintain field communication.
• Maintain records of incidents, equipment status, and operations.
• Conduct system checks to ensure equipment functions properly.
• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Follow site procedures, emergency protocols, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean, professional, and organized work environment.
