Job summary

Exelon is seeking an ESOC Operator to monitor 24/7 physical security systems and support IT access and cyber security across the enterprise. The role requires handling security events, documenting incidents, and coordinating repairs with partners.

The position emphasizes adherence to NERC/CIP compliance, accurate logging, and independent work during security events. On-site fixed shift, 24/7 availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong time management and multi-tasking skills.
• Knowledge of PC/desktop workstation applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Ability to learn intrusion and access related security systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot remotely.
• Ability to write grammatically correct and stylistically appropriate business communications.
• Ability to work effectively under high stress situations and respond to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the physical infrastructure and personnel safety across the Exelon enterprise through 24/7 alarm monitoring and IVR system.
• Provide first level IT support for physical and logical access issues, including badge and access control.
• Support cyber security, access management, compliance, and facilities with user terminations/suspensions and NERC/CIP compliance.
• Create incident reports documenting security events in a clear, organized manner.
• Coordinate security system repairs with internal and external partners and document checks.
