Job summary

Exelon is seeking an ESOC Operator to monitor 24/7 alarm systems and provide first level IT support for access management across the enterprise. You will coordinate repairs with security, facilities, and third-party vendors, and document incidents with clear, organized reports.

The role requires handling high-stress security incidents and adherence to ESOC policies, with on-site shifts at Owings Mills, MD.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include strong time management and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of PC/desktop applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to learn intrusion and access security systems and troubleshoot remotely.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and ability to perform under high stress.

Responsibilities

• Monitor 24/7 alarm systems and IVR, providing first level IT support for access issues.
• Perform forensic investigative support of video and access control records and create incident reports.
• Coordinate security system repairs with internal and external partners.
• Document system checks and video tours; maintain shift activity logs.
