Job summary

Genpak in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee a 24/7 production shift. You will supervise up to 30 employees in packaging, operating and material handling, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with experience in plastics processing and GMP/SQF environments. A rotating 12-hour shift and adherence to SOPs are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of plastics industry processes, extrusion and thermoforming preferred.
• Experience with MS Office and databases.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts and maintain safe, compliant operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training for safety, process, quality and company policies.
• Pre-plan and manage daily shift operations for up to 30 employees.
• Ensure production meets specifications, quality and safety standards.
• Identify and resolve production issues; coordinate with other departments.
