Job summary

Johns Manville is seeking a Production Superintendent to lead a 24/7 manufacturing operation, owning production performance, quality, and safety initiatives. You will develop teams, optimize processes, and partner with plant leadership to drive performance and continuous improvement across the site.

You will manage a 100+ hourly workforce plus salaried staff, oversee budgets, and ensure regulatory and quality standards are met while stepping in for Plant Manager when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in management, engineering, or related field with 5+ years of manufacturing leadership.
• Strong leadership presence with ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams.
• Experience leading change and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production, product quality, and raw material management on a high-output, 24-hour line.
• Lead a team of over 100 hourly employees, plus ~8 salaried staff, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive production schedules, budgets, cost control, and performance metrics to meet goals.
• Identify root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions across the operation.
• Plan and schedule work to maximize equipment utilization and maintain peak productivity.
