Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Photo MDE Principal Lead Engineer to lead photolithography development across shifts and accelerate technology learning. You will guide engineers, ensure high-quality wafer flow, and drive data-driven decisions.

This role requires leadership in a fast-paced environment, collaboration across teams, and applying AI-enabled approaches to improve development efficiency and cycle times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent semiconductor experience.
• Experience in photolithography process development and imaging fundamentals.
• Demonstrated leadership in a technical or manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage execution in a fast-paced, multi-team environment.
• Experience working with LLMs or AI supported engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead photolithography development execution and ensure high-quality wafer flow and data.
• Manage and develop engineers across shifts through coaching and mentoring.
• Drive operational performance including cycle time, tool readiness, and execution efficiency.
• Partner with integration, process, and manufacturing teams to resolve issues.
• Apply AI-Enabled approaches to improve decision making and development efficiency.
