Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho seeks a Senior Engineer in Photolithography Process Development to lead advanced lithography programs for next-gen DRAM. You will own process development, collaborate with equipment and materials suppliers, and apply data-driven methods to optimize performance and yield.

This role requires deep knowledge of 365/248/193 nm lithography, immersion optics, and ML-enabled analytics, with opportunities to influence design, process integration, and IP strategy across

Qualifications

  • Master’s or PhD in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or related field.
  • Or a Bachelor’s with 5+ years photolithography industry experience.
  • Understanding of optics, immersion lithography, polarized illumination, and low-k1 imaging.
  • Knowledge of lithography materials, chemistry, and processes for 365nm, 248nm, and 193nm lithography technologies.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Experience using AI tools to automate workflows and improve productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of manufacturing-friendly photolithography processes for next-generation memory technologies.
  • Collaborate with equipment and material suppliers to solve process challenges.
  • Develop new design, layout, and lithography methodologies for future memory device architectures.
  • Apply data analytics and ML techniques to identify root causes, optimize process performance, and improve yield.
  • Document and communicate project plans, technical results, and innovation opportunities, including IP disclosures.
