MidSouth Electric Co-op is seeking a Dispatcher to collect outage information, coordinate with service crews, and direct troubleshooting efforts to restore electrical service under supervision. • Strong phone, computer, and organizational skills; ability to multitask and troubleshoot quickly and efficiently; quick learners.

Responsibilities

• Collect information about outages and coordinate with service personnel to resolve outage situations.
• Provide work direction in troubleshooting and restoring electrical service under the System Operations Supervisor.
• Manage incoming calls and distinguish outages from service orders; assign crews based on priority.
• Prepare tickets, track crews and equipment, and generate reports on consumer updates and on-call lists.
