The Nurse Manager will oversee daily operations, evaluate metrics, and drive initiatives across the unit, fostering a high-performing, compliant team with strong communication and leadership

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the State of Florida
• BSN degree or enrolled/expected to complete BSN within the stated timeframe
• Two years’ experience in an acute care clinical environment with progressive nursing leadership experience
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification prior to start date
• Experience with TJC outcomes and regulatory standards
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Oversees 24/7 operations of the unit
• Ensures high quality patient outcomes and compliance with standards
• Leads staffing plans based on census and acuity
• Monitors patient experience metrics and rounding practices
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to improve access and care
• Maintains unit equipment and supply inventory
• Supports staff development and performance improvement initiatives
