Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a Network Operations Center (NOC) Specialist to monitor campus health signals, coordinate incident responses, and produce incident documentation. The role emphasizes communication, judgment, and timely escalation without hands-on engineering tasks.

You will manage incident timelines, lead bridges, and ensure updates and follow-ups are delivered within SLAs. This position requires rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a 24/7 operations environment such as NOC, SOC, dispatch, mission control, or equivalent.
• Proven ability to acknowledge, classify, and escalate incidents under SLA in a high-signal environment.
• Experience opening and running incident bridges with stakeholder updates on a fixed cadence and live timeline hygiene.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills during active incidents.

Responsibilities

• Staff the console per shift schedule and monitor cluster health, node availability, and network health.
• Acknowledge every page within SLA; classify, log disposition, and feed noise patterns back to SRE.
• Detect, verify, and escalate within time budgets; follow the escalation matrix and page correctly the first time.
• Open and run incident bridges; manage stakeholder communications and incident timelines.
• Produce first-pass RCA framing and hand to SRE/Hardware Failure Analysis for depth.
• Run structured shift handoffs and durable shift logs; maintain cross-site awareness.
• Write major-incident reports; open corrective projects and chase them to closure.
• Maintain and improve NOC runbooks, escalation matrices, and communication templates.
