Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Network Operations Technician (Starlink) in Redmond, WA to operate and scale the Starlink Network for millions of users. You will triage real-time events, coordinate with engineering and partners, and drive root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

You will own incident response, monitor uptime, and work with operations engineering to enhance efficiency and maintain service quality. Shift includes evenings/nights with rotating on-call duties.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional experience troubleshooting and operating computer systems in a network/IT setting.
• Experience in NOC/SOC/Data Center operations preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Cybersecurity or STEM is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Detect and triage emerging anomalies on satellites, ground stations, and interconnects.
• Provide centralized awareness and management of routine and emergency maintenance.
• Execute rapid incident response for major network disruptions.
• Own investigation, troubleshooting and resolution for common network issues.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex escalations with internal teams.
• Measure and improve uptime and performance of the Starlink Network.
• Follow and improve operating processes for the Starlink Network.
