Job summary

GDIT seeks an experienced Network Administrator for the US BICES-X program at USAF MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL. The role provides 24/7 incident response to ensure stability and security of in-house information systems supporting DoD/IC missions.

Requirements include 10+ years of experience, Secret clearance, CCNA, and DOW 8570/IAT II eligibility. Strong routing/switching, Cisco IOS, and vendor coordination skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience.
• Must possess and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
• BA/BS degree – may substitute additional years of experience.
• Must possess a completed CCNA certification.
• Must meet DOW 8570 requirements and be eligible for IAT level II access.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, analyzes, and resolves network incidents and problems.
• Provides network/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance.
• Determines network specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
• Participates in special projects as assigned.
• Maintains network to meet Enterprise Service Availability and SLA requirements.
• Interfaces with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during outages or reduced performance.
• 24/7 position; shift work is required.
