Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks an experienced IT infrastructure professional to join the US BICES-X program. You will identify, analyze, and resolve complex network incidents while applying ITSM principles and supporting secure voice, video, and data communications for DoD intelligence operations.

The role requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance, a BA/BS degree (or equivalent experience), and CCNA certification.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or networking.
Must possess and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
BA/BS degree or higher, may be substituted for additional experience.
CCNA certification required; CCNP/Juniper equivalents preferred.

Responsibilities

Identifies, analyzes, and resolves network incidents and problems.
Uses ITSM principles to categorize, prioritize, escalate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents.
Provides training and guidance on network issues to end-users and junior staff.
Determines network specifications and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
Participates in special projects as assigned.
Analyzes and maintains voice, video, and data networks.
Manages network usage to meet service availability and SLAs.
Maintains network security and compliance with policies.
Interacts with vendors to resolve outages and performance issues.
