Job summary

Nationwide Technical Search is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager in Marysville, MI to lead a 24/7 facility operations team and drive a rigorous preventive maintenance program. This onsite, direct-hire role focuses on minimizing downtime, safe equipment operation, and continuous plant reliability.

You will oversee electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, manage a PM schedule and parts inventory, and supervise maintenance staff while collaborating with management and vendors.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree with 7–10 years related supervision experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical (110V-440V), hydraulics, pneumatics, and blueprint reading.
• Experience welding, fabrication, and basic machine shop equipment.
• Proficient with CMMS and spare parts inventory management.
• Hi-Lo license, rigging, crane training, LOTO certification.
• Willing to work long hours and respond to 24/7 on-call needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Maintain 24/7 presses operation and prevent downtime.
• Manage PM schedule and parts inventory.
• Lead maintenance staff: hire, train, schedule, supervise.
• Ensure safety compliance, participate in safety teams, and manage LOTO.
• Control department costs and manage vendor relationships.
