Job summary

ETA LOGISTICAL SOLUTIONS is seeking a Dispatcher for our Romulus, MI site. You will coordinate daily routes, assign deliveries to drivers, and monitor shipments, ensuring timely updates and responsive communication with drivers and customers.

Responsibilities include verifying documentation, maintaining records, and collaborating with operations and warehouse teams to meet service commitments in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with dispatching or coordinating transportation, courier, or logistics operations.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple routes and priorities.
• Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS tools, and standard office applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets).
• Clear and professional communication skills for interacting with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7/365 environment and handle urgent issues calmly and effectively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in scheduling, documentation, and record keeping.
• Basic knowledge of local and regional geography; experience in courier or freight operations is beneficial.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or coursework in logistics or transportation is a plus.
• Reliable on-site presence in Romulus, MI and ability to work assigned shifts, including evenings or weekends as needed.
