Job summary

ITR Concession Co LLC operates a 24/7 Traffic Management Center responsible for dispatching and first-line troubleshooting of ITS systems on the Indiana Toll Road. Dispatchers communicate via radio, telephone, and e-mail to coordinate with ISP, towing, and emergency responders, while monitoring CCTV and DMS for incidents and hazards.

Role requires strong typing, clear communication, and the ability to work under stressful conditions in a 24/7 environment, with travel up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to hear and understand two radio channels simultaneously while on the telephone.
• Fast and accurate typing.
• Ability to monitor video images.
• Above average written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to communicate under stressful conditions.
• Ability to use common sense in making instant decisions.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks safely and uphold a safety culture.
• Dispatch and communicate with towing agencies and emergency response personnel.
• Monitor ITS systems and respond to incidents across the ITR corridor.
• Use ITS software to log incidents, closures, and maintenance events.
• Provide clear directions and accurate incident details.
• Ensure compliance with ITRCC goals and objectives.
• Handle communications via radio, telephone, and e-mail.
