Job summary

VetRamp seeks a Command Center Specialist to monitor dashboards for weather, security, and surveillance, ensuring timely communication of critical events to clients. The role coordinates with engineering, energy suppliers, and on-site staff for deployments, decommissions, and maintenance in a 24/7 Operations Center.

You will process field data, make real-time decisions, draft situational reports, and deliver briefings.

Qualifications

Associate degree or 2 years of relevant Data Center experience.
Proficient in IT troubleshooting (network, platform, storage), Excel, Power BI, Tableau.
Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and Genetec software (certification preferred).
Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, Slack, and Zabbix.
Knowledge of ITIL service delivery concepts and coding languages (SQL, Python, PHP) preferred.
Strong communication and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle stressful, long-hour shifts.
High-Performance Computing (HPC) and/or understanding of blockchain principles preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyze and organize data, clearly communicating with senior management.
Coordinate crisis response and incident management for security operations.
Draft situational reports and deliver briefings.
Monitor and support physical access control and security systems.
Handle emergency notifications (e.g., weather, active shooter) and provide field support.
Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, de-escalating conflicts, and problem-solving.
Adapt to urgent situations with minimal supervision, ensuring continuous operational improvement.
