Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an ESOC Engineer to monitor, troubleshoot, and manage network and infrastructure services in a demanding 24x7 environment. You will provide technical support for escalated issues and ensure quick resolutions to protect enterprise services.

The role requires strong IT skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication, with shift work (Wed–Sat, 6am–4pm) and a focus on rapid issue detection and AI-enabled improvements. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in a technical operations environment.
Experience with technical customer support.
Knowledge of Linux and UNIX, Windows, and Networks.
Knowledge of ServiceNow or ticketing systems.
Knowledge of ITIL concepts.
Ability to apply fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.
Ability to support a 6am to 4pm, Wednesday through Saturday shift.
Associate's degree or 2+ years of experience in IT operations and incident management in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

Monitor, troubleshoot, and manage network and infrastructure services in a 24x7 fast-paced environment.
Provide technical support to escalated issues and ensure rapid resolution of enterprise services.
Coordinate with service owners to resolve disruptions and work with the Service Desk to identify potential widespread issues and ensure rapid escalation.
